WTF! This is a vent (I think) that sits on the top of our basement stairs. Since the basement is filled to capacity, the basement stairway has become a dumping ground. Well, that is a bad idea on all accounts, so I made it my mission today to clean the steps. But this was as far as I got before saying "crap!"- well, maybe not that exact word.
The most expensive computer game in 1987 was a racing game for the Commodore 64. It cost just under $40. I wouldn't pay that for a computer game now. I'll upload a pic later.I know this because I found MORE computer magazines. Argh.
Well, in any case, I made significant progress. I got an empty tub (ack! more tubs!), took some of my dads vinyls off a storage shelf, and found both of them a new home with other tubs, waiting for phase three. After much cleaning and rearranging, I was able to completely clean off the steps and entryway. I feel awesome! Here are some more pic.s to show the progress. Phase 1 is 95% complete now, with only transport of dead boxes to go, and the death of completely stuffed boxes imminent. Hooray!
Dad's record collection, now waterproof
Moving the records made room for all the things on the steps.
Oh, and look! I can play table hockey again!
Remember that vent? Here's what it looks like clean:
Find of the Day: Besides being able to see the air hockey table again? How about a mint condition vinyl of Bob Dylan's "Times They Are A' Changing"?
